There are four steps in the powder coating process: surface pretreatment, preparation of powder coating ingredients, powder coating, and curing.
Powder coating is typically applied electrostatically and then cured under heat or with ultraviolet light, and it's used on metals such as aluminum, stainless steel and steel.
Fabmann uses a special blend of polymer resin, and blend of curatives, pigments and additives is applied for creating specific color, finish and UV protection is based upon application background.
To optimize the powder coating advantage, it is important to understand our clients' requirement on color, application background, UV resistance and base material, and Fabmann normally choose of the world famous brands like Aksu Nobel, PPG, Axalta, Tiger and Nippon for our clients.

Fabmann provides prime powder coating quality, so don't need to worry about severe humidity or weather conditions. But certain sever environment condition could cause adverse effects on the powder coating, and this is why the proper pre-treatment is so important prior to powder coating. To satisfy our clients' expectation, we have quite few different powders which we can choose from.
First is polyester, and it is the most commonly used powder coating type because of its flexibility and impact resistance, and it serve the purpose for indoors or outdoor application.
Second is polyurethane, and it's a slight step up from polyester in hardness due to a different curing agent used, and it does not have the mechanical flexibility of polyester.
Third is epoxy, and it offers great chemical and corrosion resistance, but it does not stand the weathering well. Therefore, it's best to use in indoor or as a primer under a topcoat.
The last one is super durable polyester, and it is designed to hold their color and gloss over a longer period of time. Plus, it also provides better humidity and corrosion protection compared with normal polyester powder.

√ Fényesség ellenőrzése
√ Adhesion test, Use utility knife to cut the coating in grid-like formula , attempting to lift it by adhesive tape, and the adhesion will be considered to fail if the coating flakes off.
√ Visual inspection upon apearance, pin holes, discoloration, craters, poor curing, sags and run, fish eye, and poor powder spray is strictly rejected.
√ Hanging marks repair or very small uncoated area is acceptable to do liquid paint tough-up repair, but the paint shall be polyurethane and color-matched paint.
